The company is an established and leading manufacturer of springs, pressings and stampings who are based within the Redditch area.
They are seeking to recruit a CNC Spring Setter for their friendly, clean, modern production facility in Redditch.
Salary – circa £35,000 to £45,000 per annum.

The main responsibility of the role is to produce torsion springs and wire forms correct to spec on engineering drawings.
Responsibilities and duties are as follows;
- Set, program and operate CNC spring and wire form machines for torsion and wire form components.
- Adjust tooling, feeds, speeds and machine setting for optimal output.
- Read from engineering drawings and job specifications to produce components to tight tolerances.
- Inspect products for quality and accuracy using micrometres, verniers, gauges and other measuring tools.
- Ensure production runs meets output, quality and efficiency targets.
- Carry out minor fault finding and routine maintenance of machinery.
Experience and qualifications for the role are as follows;
- Previous experience within a spring making or wire form environment.
- Knowledge of wire forming, coiling and spring manufacturing processes.
- Competent in reading engineering drawings and using measuring tools.
- Ideally have automotive or aerospace industry experience.
- Good problem solving and analytical skills.
- A friendly, \”can do\” attitude.
The company are based in Redditch so is commutable from Birmingham, Bromsgrove, Alcester, Solihull, Worcester, Droitwich, Dudley, Stratford upon Avon, Evesham.
