An established and growing global business is looking to appoint an Operations Assistant to join their small, dynamic Online team based in Longbridge. This role is ideal for an entry-level candidate, graduate, or someone with experience in a similar administrative, operations, or customer-focused role who is keen to learn, develop, and progress.
The Operations Assistant (Online) will support the day-to-day activities of the online operations function, playing a key role in ensuring smooth processes, strong collaboration across teams, and an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Supporting day-to-day online operations and order processing
- Checking stock availability and providing updates on product availability
- Assisting with online inventory administration and system updates
- Working with our sales team to discuss price lists and closing orders accurately
- Processing customer refunds, returns, credits, and reconciliations
- Liaising with internal teams including Accounts and Operations
- Responding to customer queries and complaints, resolving issues efficiently and professionally
- Ensuring invoicing is accurate and completed within deadlines
- Producing regular reports to support operational performance
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance the customer experience
- Personable, confident, and comfortable communicating with customers and colleagues
- Highly organised, self-sufficient, and proactive
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- A collaborative team player focused on achieving shared objectives
- Customer-focused with a passion for delivering excellent service
- Confident using systems and Microsoft Office; Excel knowledge advantageous
- Previous office-based administration, operations, or customer service experience beneficial but not essential
