Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Accounts Payable Finance Assistant to support our client based in Redditch. This role has been created due to an increased workload and requires someone who can start immediately. The assignment will run for a minimum of three weeks, with the possibility of extension depending on business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Matching, batching, and coding invoices
  • Managing supplier queries via email and phone
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Assisting with payment runs
  • Maintaining accurate financial records
  • Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience within an Accounts Payable or finance role
  • Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Confident using finance systems and Microsoft Excel
