Are you an experienced claims handler with a passion for delivering excellent customer service? We’re looking for a confident and detail-oriented Commercial Claims Handler to join our friendly and dynamic team in Rubery.

About the Role: As a Commercial Claims Handler, you’ll be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial insurance claims from first notification through to settlement. You’ll work closely with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders to ensure claims are processed efficiently and fairly, always maintaining a high standard of service.

Commercial Claims Handler Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle a caseload of commercial claims including property, liability, and business interruption.
  • Liaise with insurers, loss adjusters, and clients to progress claims effectively.
  • Provide regular updates to clients and support them throughout the claims process.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on our claims management system.
  • Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and internal policies.
The successful Commercial Claims Handler will have the following skills and experience:
  • Previous experience in commercial claims handling (minimum 2 years preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and claims processes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • High attention to detail and organisational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and claims management system.
  • Experience working in an FCA environment.
