Pertemps Reading are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join a busy client, based in Thatcham. Day and Night Shift positions available!
- DAY SHIFT: Monday to Friday: £12.73 ph/Overtime £13.25 ph; Weekends: £13.82 ph/Overtime £14.95 ph
- NIGHT SHIFT: Monday to Friday: £13.82 ph/Overtime £14.95 ph; Weekends: £14.94 ph/Overtime £16.08 ph
As a Warehouse Operative you will be:
- Picking food products using a top voice pick system for a well-known supermarket
- Working in a chilled and ambient environment
- Breaking down and allocating goods
- Achieving targets and job standards set out by the shift manager
- Other duties which may include heavy lifting
The ideal Warehouse Operative will have the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided
- Must have good attention to detail
- Must have a positive attitude and be extremely reliable and flexible
- Ability to work under pressure, and to meet deadlines
- Punctual with excellent timekeeping and attendance
Additional Information:
- Overtime paid after 40 hours per week.
- Xmas Bonus rate enhancements, potential extra £800 earnings in December on top of pay rates.
- Day Shift 10:00 - (Finish time can vary between 15:00-18:00)
- Night Shift 18:00 - (Finish time can vary between 23:00 - 02:00)
