Are you looking for a hands-on role within a busy manufacturing and warehouse environment? We’re currently recruiting a Warehouse Operative to join a well-established and growing team. This is a permanent role and a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, values quality, and wants long-term stability within a supportive business.
While full training will be provided, this role would suit someone who already has experience working in a warehouse.
Starting salary is £26,000.
Due to the location, own transport is essential.
Key Responsibilities:- Goods Handling: Receiving, storing, picking, and moving materials safely and efficiently
- Despatch Duties: Preparing orders for despatch, checking paperwork, labelling, and ensuring goods are accurately packed and ready for collection
- Quality Control: Checking products to ensure they meet required standards
- Inventory Management: Assisting with stock control, stock rotation, and maintaining accurate records
- Teamwork: Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Health & Safety: Following site procedures and safe systems of work at all times
- Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production role would be beneficial
- Forklift Certificate is an advantage (but not essential)
- A reliable and flexible approach to work
- Physically fit, as the role involves manual handling
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new processes
