HGV CLass 2 Driver Required Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver (LGV C) to join our team on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plant hire operations and be capable of handling a variety of heavy goods vehicles. This is working Monday to Friday day shifts (8 – 5) paying £16.00 ph. We are also looking for a HGV Class 1 Driver at £17.50 ph Key Responsibilities: Safely operate HGV Class 2 vehicles to transport plant hire equipment to various locations. Ensure timely delivery and collection of equipment, adhering to schedules and deadlines. Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness. Load and unload plant hire equipment, ensuring secure and safe transportation. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and vehicle maintenance. Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies. Provide excellent customer service, addressing any queries or concerns from clients. Requirements: Valid HGV Class 2 (LGV C) driving license. Experience in plant hire operations. CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations. Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
