HGV Class 1 Driver Job Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plant hire operations and be capable of handling a variety of heavy goods vehicles. Key Responsibilities: Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles to transport plant hire equipment to various locations. Ensure timely delivery and collection of equipment, adhering to schedules and deadlines. Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness. Load and unload plant hire equipment, ensuring secure and safe transportation. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and vehicle maintenance. Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies. Provide excellent customer service, addressing any queries or concerns from clients. Requirements: Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving license. Experience in plant hire operations. CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
