HGV Class 1 Driver Job Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plant hire operations and be capable of handling a variety of heavy goods vehicles. Key Responsibilities: Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles to transport plant hire equipment to various locations. Ensure timely delivery and collection of equipment, adhering to schedules and deadlines. Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness. Load and unload plant hire equipment, ensuring secure and safe transportation. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and vehicle maintenance.
