Key Responsibilities:- Maintenance and Repair: Perform both planned (preventative) and reactive maintenance on food processing machinery and equipment. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical faults to minimize downtime and ensure production efficiency. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including planned maintenance schedules and repairs.
- Production Support: Work closely with production teams to identify and address maintenance needs, ensuring optimal production performance. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing equipment reliability and reducing maintenance costs.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with relevant health and safety regulations, including food safety standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Technical Skills: Possess a strong understanding of both mechanical and electrical principles. Be proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Be able to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
