We are delighted to be working with Northumbrian Water, who are looking to appoint a Plumber on a 6 month temporary contract. The role will be working throughout the Durham and Teesside area, a van, full kit and PPE will be provided. Hourly rate £14.69-£18.36ph dependant on experience.
Role description:
- Face to face technical assistance to customers.
- Installation of water meters, and water efficiency products in a commercial and domestic environment.
- Identification of potential events/incidents.
- Ensure that neither Health & Safety nor Water Quality is compromised.
- Assist repair and maintenance teams.
- Identification and location of leaks on underground network.
- Enforcement of Water Regulations.
- Completion of reports, as appropriate.
- Meet the Company's customer service target.
- Manage customers' expectations in line with preferred/optimum operational requirements.
- Identification of commercial opportunities.
- Participate in out of hours standby rota.
- In addition, line managers may request employees to carry out other reasonable tasks in line with operational needs.
Role Requirements:
- Driving Licence.
- NVQ Level 2 in plumbing (or equivalent), as a minimum.
- Previous customer service experience.
- Knowledge of relevant policies/procedures.
- City & Guilds Water Regulations.
- NRSWA (Signing, Lighting & Guarding).
- Water Hygiene (blue card).
