Chef / Kitchen AssistantChelmsfordTemporary£12.30-£17 DOEAre you passionate about preparing quality food in a fast-paced, friendly environment? We’re looking for a Chef to join our team at our leisure centre in Chelmsford, operated by Northumbrian Water.Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing and cooking a variety of hot and cold meals
  • Making fresh sandwiches and snacks
  • Assisting with food preparation for daily service
  • Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained at all times
  • Following food safety procedures, including HACCP guidelines
  • Occasional pot washing

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar catering or kitchen environment
  • Understanding of HACCP and food safety standards
  • Food Hygiene Level 2 certification (required)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic
