Key Responsibilities Build and maintain long-term relationships with both new and existing clients Actively prospect for new business opportunities while ensuring that key accounts are fully managed and strategically developed Drive sales across various market segments, offering our diverse range of high-performance caps and closures tailored to meet customer needs in industries such as food and beverage, personal care and pharmaceuticals Work with clients to understand their specific needs and develop customised packaging solutions Your aim will be to position our client as the go-to partner for innovative and reliable closure systems Identify customer requirements, build strong relationships and provide tailored solutions that directly address their pain points, using a consultative sales approach to justify our clients products’ value Prepare accurate and competitive quotes for customers in partnership with our clients engineering department, ensuring the technical specifications and requirements are met while delivering a top-notch proposal Oversee all commercial activities in your area, including pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and customer communication – you will also ensure compliance with internal processes and procedures Key Requirements Demonstrable success in sales, ideally within a manufacturing environment or related industry – a background in the packaging or closure market would be highly advantageous, but not essential A track record of identifying and seizing new business opportunities, developing leads and successfully closing deals You must have a sharp commercial acumen to identify strategic business opportunities and drive growth 4-6 years of experience in a technical sales role, with a focus on understanding complex customer needs and providing appropriate product solutions Given the global nature of the role, a strong cultural awareness and the ability to adapt to different business environments is key You must be able to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues and cross-functional teams, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and a solutions-oriented mindset You are a highly motivated individual who is results-driven, with a strong work ethic and a collaborative approach to team success A full, clean driving license is essential, as this role involves significant travel across the designated territory Next Steps This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the continued growth and success of a global leader in the packaging industry.
