Support and lead the Health, Safety and Environment strategy, improvement projects and programs at the facility.

Implement the Health and Safety Management System according to regulatory and corporate requirements.

Coordinate and undertake regular safety walks, inspections, and internal audits.

Conduct and support, workplace risk assessment, incident investigation and promote proactive reporting of near miss and good catches.

Prepare and implement policies and procedures.

Coordinate regular safety committee/team and communicate essential safety information to all facility team members.

Provide regular updates to senior managers and the EHS Manager EMEAI and attend EMEAI safety meeting and share ideas and best practices.

Ensure training (Induction, general, refresher) is current for team members

Oversee and maintain relevant documentation such as risk assessments, procedures, training material etc.

Lead visits from Local Authority, Health and Safety Executive, Environment Agency and other outside agencies as necessary.

Be a visible presence on the shop floor to promote high standards of compliance and behaviours, as part of visible felt leadership.

NEBOSH Certificate (level 3) qualified (or equivalent)

Experience in a similar level role, working in engineering, manufacturing or workshop environments
