Quality and Environment Manager – 12-Month Contract with Potential for Permanency
£45,000 (flexibility for the right candidate)
40 hours/week, primarily Monday–Friday, with some interaction required for night shifts.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and improve quality and environmental systems (ISO9001 & ISO14001).
Lead a small team, including the Health and Safety Officer
Conduct internal audits, manage third-party audits, and address non-conformances
Provide customer support, handle complaints, and resolve issues promptly
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, including waste management and carbon reduction initiatives
Collaborate across departments to enhance processes, update procedures, and drive continual improvement projects
Act as the primary contact for external audits and manage factory production control test records
Deliver training and toolbox talks on quality and environmental topics
What We’re Looking For
3–5 years’ experience in managing quality and environmental systems, with a proven track record in ISO9001 and ISO14001
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and regulatory compliance
Exceptional people management and communication skills
Experience in setting and driving KPIs, as well as implementing continuous improvement initiatives
Knowledge of the glass industry or similar manufacturing environments is highly desirable
