Quality Environment Health Safety Manager
Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced QHSE Manager to join a leading manufacturing business based in Andover. Our client is looking for the successful candidate to have a hands-on approach to QHSE Management, focusing on embedding a quality and safety mindset throughout the company.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with up-to-date ISO 9001:2015 and AS 9100 Rev D requirements, making sure accurate records are kept in support of required standards.
- Maintain Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with set processes, ensuring internal audits are completed to schedule and providing updates and assurances to the Board of Directors of continuing compliance.
- Manage a programme of QMS corrective and preventative actions to ensure best practice.
- Coordinate and attend all external ISO quality audits and provide support in relation to quality to teams undergoing customer audits.
- Manage the process for non-conforming parts, liaising with all stakeholders to ensure a timely resolution and that corrective actions and preventative measures are fit for purpose and have been effected.
- Oversee the calibration management system, working across all teams within the business to ensure equipment is calibrated to set schedules.
- Ensure compliance with internal HSE systems in accordance with ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 requirements, making sure accurate records are maintained in support of regulations.
- Manage risk and COSHH assessments, ensuring that the company remains compliant.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience with Quality Management to AS 9100:D or equivalent
- Experience with ISO 14001 and 45001
- Level 4 HNC qualification as a minimum
- Demonstrable auditing experience
- Mechanical Engineering or other Engineering discipline qualification
