About the Role
We’re hiring a Production Supervisor to join a market-leading artisan cheese manufacturer, supplying innovative, high-quality products to foodservice providers across the UK.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for leading a team of up to 30 production staff, ensuring daily targets are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and safety. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with leadership experience in food production to join a growing business that invests in people, processes, and technology.
What You’ll Do
- Supervise and coordinate daily production operations across shifts
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of up to 30 staff
- Monitor production schedules and adjust resources to meet targets
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards
- Deliver daily team briefings and performance reviews
- Train and mentor staff to support development
- Troubleshoot production issues to minimise downtime
- Maintain accurate records (output, attendance, incidents)
- Work closely with maintenance and quality teams
- Support machine setup and operation when needed
What We’re Looking For
- At least 1 year’s experience as a Supervisor/Team Leader
- Background in food production or manufacturing
- Strong leadership, communication & organisational skills
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
- Experience with food machinery is an advantage: Tecno-Pack Flow Wrapper
