We are recruiting an experienced and motivated Senior Structural Engineer to join our client’s expanding team. This senior-level position offers the opportunity to lead and deliver complex structural engineering projects from initial concept through to completion, within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment. You will work closely with clients, architects and internal teams to produce innovative, practical and high-quality design solutions.
The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, proven project leadership capability and the confidence to manage multiple workloads effectively. You will be a clear and confident communicator, able to mentor junior engineers and collaborate across disciplines to ensure exceptional standards of delivery. Proficiency in industry-standard structural design software is essential, alongside a genuine passion for the built environment and a solid understanding of the construction process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the delivery of structural engineering projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate and oversee the work of project engineers, graduates, and technicians.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Apply excellent structural design skills using relevant software tools (e.g., TEDDS, Tekla Structural Designer, Fastrack Portal Frame, CADS Wall Panel, P Frame, MasterSeries Retaining Wall).
- Manage multiple projects across different disciplines within a consultancy environment.
- Mentor and lead junior team members, providing guidance and professional development.
- Solve complex engineering problems with innovative and practical solutions.
- Prepare and deliver clear, concise presentations to clients and internal teams.
- Maintain high standards of quality, professionalism, and reliability throughout project delivery.
- Demonstrate a proactive, “can do” attitude and strong commitment to teamwork.

- Advanced structural design capabilities, with extensive experience using industry-standard software, including TEDDS, Tekla Structural Designer, Fastrack Portal Frame, CADS Wall Panel, P Frame, and MasterSeries Retaining Wall.
- Able to apply engineering principles to deliver innovative, buildable, and cost-effective solutions across a range of structural systems.
