Overview
Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) — Location: Corby, NN17 | £45,000 – £50,000 DOE | 4 on / 4 off – Days & Nights – 12h shifts
Join our team at a state-of-the-art automated cold storage facility, where you’ll play a key role in keeping operations running at peak efficiency — working on advanced systems at heights up to 120ft and in temperatures as low as -23°C.
What you’ll do
- Maintain and repair conveyors, cranes, cooling systems & oxygen reduction systems
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime
- Work towards KPIs and support operational efficiency
- Manage spare parts stock and coordinate supplier visits
- Drive energy-saving initiatives for sustainability
What we’re looking for
- NVQ Level 3 in Multi-Skilled or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Apprentice-trained with FMCG automated warehouse experience
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Cold store & ammonia plant experience (desirable)
- Competitive salary (£45–50k DOE)
