Sheridan Maine is partnering with a well-established accountancy firm based in Kent to recruit a Manager. This is a hands-on, client-facing role offering the chance to manage your own portfolio, lead audits and accounts work, and mentor junior team members within a collaborative and supportive team.
As a Manager, you will take ownership of client engagements and support the delivery of high-quality accounting, audit, and advisory services. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of clients, including SMEs and owner-managed businesses.
- Acting as the primary point of contact and trusted adviser for clients.
- Overseeing audits, accounts preparation, and tax compliance work.
- Reviewing work completed by junior staff and providing technical guidance.
- Leading client meetings and maintaining strong, professional relationships.
