Key Responsibilities
- Carry out detailed site surveys to assess existing fire systems and identify upgrade or compliance opportunities.
- Prepare and present compliant designs, quotations, and sales proposals in line with BS 5839 and relevant legislation.
- Work closely with sales and project delivery teams to ensure technically accurate and commercially viable proposals.
- Manage projects from order through to completion, ensuring compliance, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Identify and convert upgrade opportunities from existing service and maintenance contracts.
- Maintain accurate records of site visits, quotations, and sales activity within the CRM system.
- Achieve or exceed monthly KPIs, including sales revenue targets (monthly and quarterly), number of quotations issued, and customer and site visit activity.
- Build strong relationships with customers, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
- Stay informed on changes to fire safety legislation, standards, and emerging technologies.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in fire systems sales, project management, or design engineering.
- Strong technical understanding of fire detection and alarm systems, ideally within an upgrade or refurbishment environment.
- Working knowledge of BS 5839, BS 5266, and relevant fire safety legislation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working in a target-driven environment.
- Full UK driving licence (car allowance provided).
