The business designs and manufactures specialist testing and production equipment that is exported globally and used by leading international brands across multiple industries.

An opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and detail-focused Electrical Production Engineer to join a busy manufacturing and production team. This is a hands-on role focused on the electrical assembly, wiring, calibration, verification, and final production stages of specialist machinery.

You will take ownership of electrical build quality, fault diagnosis, and final commissioning processes, ensuring all equipment meets required technical, quality, and compliance standards. The role may also offer opportunities for international travel for on-site commissioning, repairs, and technical support across Europe, Asia, and North America. Full training will be provided on internal systems, procedures, calibration, and verification processes.

  • Electrical preparation and wiring of machinery and chassis to technical drawings
  • Electrical assembly to defined production deadlines
  • Fault-finding and rectification on prototype, production, and customer equipment
  • Accurate digital capture and recording of calibration and test data
  • Generation of work orders and production documentation
  • Coordination of freight, shipments, and logistics documentation
  • Supporting commissioning and on-site technical support activities
  • Electrical engineering / panel wiring / production wiring experience
  • Confident user of IT systems including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Full UK driving licence
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • PLC programming experience
  • Previous experience in production, manufacturing, or test equipment environments
