A primary school in Brixton is looking for a dedicated Early Years Educator to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support young children at a crucial stage of their development, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment. The school prides itself on its child-centred approach, ensuring that every child receives the care, encouragement, and education they need to thrive.

Role Overview 

• Position: Early Years Educator 

• Location: Lambeth

• Start Date: Immediate 

• Salary: £103.00 – £110.00 per day (dependent on experience)

 
The ideal candidate will: 

• Hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or a relevant degree (Essential) 

• Have experience working with children in an Early Years setting 

• Be knowledgeable about the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework 

• Be able to create a stimulating and supportive learning environment 

• Have strong communication and teamwork skills, working closely with teachers and support staff 

• Be passionate about child development and committed to inclusive education 

 
Your Responsibilities 

• Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS curriculum 

• Support children in developing their language, social, and motor skills 

• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children feel encouraged to explore and learn 

• Observe and assess children's progress, contributing to learning journals and reports 

• Work closely with parents, carers, and colleagues to ensure each child receives tailored support 

• Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being in young learners
