Lady Mary Montgomerie Currie Sheridan Maine is partnering with a leading financial services organisation based in Canary Wharf to recruit a Compensation Accountant on an 11-month maternity cover basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant to join a dynamic team and make an immediate impact. Our client is ideally looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
The role: You will work closely with the Head of Compensation Accounting, providing support across all aspects of payroll and LLP accounting, as well as related reporting. This is a hands‑on role within a collaborative finance team, offering exposure to complex accounting and reporting processes.
Key responsibilities of the Compensation Accountant include:
- Supporting payroll and LLP accounting processes.
- Assisting with related financial reporting.
- Ensuring accuracy and compliance in all compensation accounting activities.
- Working closely with the wider finance team to deliver results.
The ideal Compensation Accountant will have:
- Previous Compensation and Payroll Accounting experience especially within Limited Liability Partnership would be advantageous.
- A good understanding of UK personal tax together with reporting requirements.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Excellent accounting, analytical and reporting skills.
