My client is an independent contract catering company who are passionate about providing an exceptional catering service to their clients, covering the education, B&I, and healthcare sectors.
An opportunity has arisen for an Operations Manager to oversee education sites which consists of a mix of Primary & Secondary Schools in the TELFORD/SHREWSBURY area.
Location: candidate must live in a short commutable distance within the TELFORD/SHREWSBURY area.
Requirements: candidates should have previous Operational Management experience particularly within the Education sector. You will have a genuine passion for food and be up to date with current food trends. You will be confident training new starters and existing staff as well as having previous experience of increasing sales in units. You will also be confident attending client meetings and potential clients.
You will also be involved in training staff and troubleshooting as well as assisting with mobilisation of new contracts.
You will have effective communication skills and strong financial acumen. My client is looking for someone who is able to drive the business forward, hit the ground running and manage clients effectively.
The successful candidate will come from a quality focused contract catering company and Operation/Area Management experience within the Education sector.
