Here at Pertemps Network Catering, we are looking to recruit experienced Kitchen/ Catering Assistants to work with our client in Billesley B13 in a long term temporary vacancy. The role will be working as part of a busy catering team in a school kitchen.
Kitchen Assistant Responsibilities:
- Assist with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients.
- Keep the kitchen and dining areas clean and organized, following all health and safety regulations.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, ensuring cleanliness standards are met.
- Help with serving food and refilling supplies as needed.
- Ensure that food storage areas are clean and well-organized.
- Support the kitchen team with any other duties as needed to maintain smooth kitchen operations.
Kitchen Assistant Requirements:
- Previous catering experience
- Ability to work Mon - Fri 12 noon to 2.30pm
- Enhanced DBS – We can process
- Food and Hygiene, Food Allergen & Safeguarding Certificate - we can help with training
