Repair Technician Location: Milton Keynes Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week Pay: £13.50 per hour (£108 per day) Contract: Ongoing Role Overview You will diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical and electronic systems in a hands-on, varied role. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues using diagnostic tools. Perform component-level repairs, including soldering and part swapping. Maintain mechanical components, refill consumables, and perform routine checks. Install and configure software and hardware as required. Test and validate all repairs and new assemblies to meet technical standards. Record repair activities, parts used, and issues resolved. Provide technical support to maintain high customer satisfaction.Candidate Requirements Experience repairing mechanical or electronic components. General soldering, part swapping, and hardware troubleshooting skills. Ability to use diagnostic and measurement tools and read technical drawings or wiring diagrams. High school diploma required; vocational training or equivalent experience preferred. Strong communication, organisation, and teamwork skills.
