We are currently recruiting for a highly organised Project Scheduler to join a busy and growing operations team based in Milton Keynes. This is a key office-based role responsible for planning schedules, coordinating resources, and supporting the smooth delivery and close-out of projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with scheduling or project coordination experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple moving parts.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain detailed project schedules including tasks, phases, milestones, and deadlines
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to coordinate works and timelines
- Arrange and track specialist surveys and subcontractor activities
- Allocate resources including labour, materials, and equipment to support on-time delivery
- Monitor project progress and update schedules to reflect changes in scope or timing
- Manage project close-out administration including certifications, guarantees, completion documents, and client feedback
- Act as a central point of communication across teams to ensure clarity on schedules and responsibilities
- Manage shared inboxes and scheduling communications
- Identify potential delays or scheduling conflicts and help implement contingency plans
- Coordinate site requirements such as permits and welfare arrangements
- Produce regular schedule and progress reports for stakeholders
- Use scheduling and project software systems to maintain accurate records and timelines
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience (2+ years) in a scheduling, planning, or project coordination role
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills — written and verbal
- Confident IT user with strong Microsoft Office skills
- Experience using CRM or scheduling systems (Salesforce experience beneficial but not essential)
- Able to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines
