The Role
A varied, hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys both driving and warehouse work. You’ll provide cover for delivery drivers using 7.5T and 3.5T vehicles, ensuring safe and timely deliveries. When not on the road, you’ll support the warehouse team with packing, order preparation, and general warehouse duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide delivery cover using 7.5T and 3.5T vehicles
- Safely load and unload goods for transport
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch
- Carry out general warehouse duties, including cleaning and stock movement
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and complete daily safety checks
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures at all times
Requirements
- Valid 7.5T driving licence with CPC
- Experience driving both 7.5T and 3.5T vehicles
- Previous delivery driver or warehouse experience
- Forklift licence (desirable, not essential)
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Positive, flexible, and team-focused attitude
