Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Band 7 Oncology Pharmacist to join the multidisciplinary team within this Oxford Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a key role as a Medicines Management Lead, ensuring the safe, effective, and high-quality use of medicines across the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering expert clinical care and pharmaceutical advice to various parts of the hospital including pre‑assessment clinics, outpatient departments, wards and theatres
- Offer specialist pharmaceutical advice to clinicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and promote best practice in medicines optimisation
- Support safe and effective prescribing, administration, and monitoring of medicines
- Provide high-quality clinical pharmacy services to oncology patients
Requirements
- GPhC Registration
- Proven post‑qualification experience in a clinical or hospital pharmacy setting
- Background in oncology pharmacy
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
