About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join a supportive and forward-thinking Children's Service Pathway, based at a single, well-equipped site. In this role, you will provide specialist assessment and intervention for children and young people with a range of developmental, sensory, and physical needs. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team focused on delivering high-quality, family-centred care to support children's functional independence and participation in daily life.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out comprehensive OT assessments for children with a variety of needs (e.g. sensory processing, fine/gross motor difficulties, coordination challenges, etc.).
  • Develop and implement individualised therapy plans and interventions.
  • Work collaboratively with our Team and families, to support the child's development and goals.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to multi-agency reports as required.
  • Support service improvement and participate in team meetings and supervision.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Experience working with children and young people in a clinical, educational, or community setting.
  • Excellent communication, clinical reasoning, and teamwork skills.
  • Understanding of family-centred and goal-oriented practice.
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
