Role Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Band 7 Pharmacist to join our team working onsite at a busy acute hospital. This is a full-time, temporary position for a period of 10 weeks, offering an excellent opportunity to work across a variety of specialities including:
- General Medicine
- Surgery
- Orthopaedics
This is a ward-based role requiring strong clinical and communication skills, with responsibilities including:
- Conducting medicines reconciliation
- Reviewing patients and making clinical interventions
- Processing discharges
- Using electronic prescribing systems
Requirements
- Must have experience working in an acute hospital environment
- Proven ability to work in a ward-based clinical setting
- Strong working knowledge of electronic prescribing systems
- GPhC registration as a Pharmacist
