Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of a wellâestablished manufacturing business in the Lye area for an experienced Manufacturing Planner to lead the administration and schedules. The Manufacturing Planner is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating manufacturing activities to ensure efficient production, onâtime delivery, and optimal use of resources. The role requires advanced Excel skills and handsâon experience with Sage to manage data, forecasts, and production plans accurately.
Hours of work: 7:00am to 4:00pm (30 minutes lunch) Monday to Thursday, 7:00am to 1:00pm on Fridays.
Responsibilities- Create and maintain production plans and schedules to meet customer demand and business targets.
- Use advanced Excel functions to analyse demand, capacity, and performance.
- Maintain accurate planning and production data with Sage, including work orders, stock levels, and customer requirements.
- Liaise with production progress, identify risks or delays, and implement corrective actions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning accuracy and manufacturing efficiency.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing planning or production planning role.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Practical experience using Sage.
- Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fastâpaced manufacturing environment.
