The predicted salary is between 13 - 22 £ per hour.
Class 1 HGV Driver at East Midlands Airport. This opportunity will provide drivers with regular ongoing work once you have completed the vetting process, providing UK Airport access.
Responsibilities
- Support the trunking operation across the UK as a Class 1 Driver.
- Work patterns and schedules are provided in advance as part of the rota process.
Requirements
- A valid HGV Class 1 driving licence.
- In-date Tachograph and CPC cards.
- No more than 6 points on your licence (no TT, IN, DD or DR codes).
- Have held your Class 1 licence for a minimum of 6 months due to insurance purposes.
Shift Patterns
- 4 or 5 days per week depending on shift pattern.
- One night out each week.
- Most shift start times will be in the PM; flexibility is required to ensure the operation runs smoothly.
Remuneration
- Monday to Friday: £19.00 per hour
- Monday to Friday: £21.71 per hour
- Saturday: £20.18 per hour
- Saturday: £22.89 per hour
- Sunday: £21.20 per hour
- Sunday 1900 to 0800: £23.91 per hour
- Overtime weekly after 40 hours: £28.50 per hour
Please note that drivers will need to have 5 years of work history vetted and successfully pass a DBS and CO course. The vetting process typically takes between 10 to 15 days to complete.
