We are currently recruiting a professional and reliable Class 1 (C+E) HGV Driver for a night-shift tramping role based from Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced driver who enjoys long-distance work, nights out, and being part of a well-run transport operation.
The Role
- Night-shift Class 1 tramping, operating UK-wide from a Manchester base
- Regular nights out in the vehicle
- Safe and timely delivery and collection of loads
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and maintaining high standards of vehicle cleanliness
- Completing all driver paperwork and electronic records accurately
- Full compliance with tachograph, driver hours, and road transport legislation
- Providing a professional and courteous service at all customer sites
The Ideal Candidate
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Digital Tachograph Card and Driver CPC
- Recent Class 1 driving experience (night work and tramping preferred)
- Good UK geographical knowledge
- Professional, safety-focused approach to driving
- Able to work independently and represent the company positively
- Reliable, flexible, and committed to high standards
