We are recruiting on behalf of a leading gas distribution company based in Bury St Edmunds for a Yard Operative to join their team. This is a temp-to-perm role, offering stability and progression for the right candidate after an initial 6-month period.
The Role: As a Yard Operative, you will play a key role in the smooth running of the depot, ensuring efficient yard operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Loading and unloading gas cylinders safely
- Organising and maintaining yard stock
- Operating forklift (training provided if required)
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Assisting with general warehouse duties
