They are looking for a Health & Safety Business Partner to join a growing national health & safety team. You’ll play a key role in promoting a culture of care and responsibility across multiple locations in the UK.
About the Role
As Health and Safety Business Partner, you’ll be at the heart of shaping and embedding a proactive safety culture across the organisation. From conducting audits and inspections to delivering vital training and supporting site managers, you’ll be a visible and valued presence across all sites. This is not just a compliance role—it’s an opportunity to influence change, educate teams, and drive engagement. The role involves regular travel across operational sites, providing variety, visibility, and the chance to truly make an impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the implementation of a safety-first culture, influencing behaviour at all levels
- Conduct audits, inspections, and produce comprehensive reports with actionable insights
- Deliver trusted advice and guidance on all Health & Safety matters
- Lead incident investigations and drive continuous improvement
- Collaborate closely with site managers and external regulators
- Assist in developing engaging training programmes and toolkits
- Support with risk assessments, improvement plans and policy reviews
- Champion safe systems of work and raise awareness of best practice
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Health & Safety role
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or higher qualification such as NVQ Level 5)
- Strong working knowledge of UK H&S legislation
- Experience supporting multiple sites or working in a regional role
- Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills
- Strong report writing and analytical capability
- Ability to travel regularly across London
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant safety management tools
