Commissioning Engineer
Location: Field-based, London
Salary: £43,000 to £46,000 plus bonus and benefits
Are you a hands‑on engineer who enjoys bringing systems to life? We are looking for a Commissioning Engineer to support the delivery of intelligent lighting control systems across commercial sites. This role offers the chance to work on high-profile projects where your technical expertise will have a real impact.
The Role
Commission and test lighting control systems on client sites
Connect systems to control panels and configure sensors, switches and modules
Work with DALI, LonWorks and IP-based systems
Diagnose and resolve faults on site
Train clients on system operation
Provide post-installation support and complete job reports
What Were Looking For
3 to 5 years experience commissioning lighting or electrical systems
Strong understanding of DALI, 1 to 10V dimming and IP networking
Experience working with control panels and PCBs
Confident working independently on site
CSCS card or willingness to obtain
Full UK driving licence
Whats on Offer
Salary £40,000 to £46,000 depending on experience
35-hour working week, Monday to Friday
One Saturday per month
25 days holiday plus
