Materials Controller Pay Rate: Β£14.69 Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday: 08:00 β 16:30, Friday: 08:00 β 13:00 Location: Knowsley, Liverpool Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent Our client is looking for a reliable and experienced Materials Controller to join their growing team in Knowsley. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in stock, inventory control, and material handling to support critical production and logistics operations. Responsibilities: 1. Receive all incoming goods, check deliveries against delivery notes, and book items into the MRP system 2. Report delivery discrepancies to the Purchasing Manager in a timely manner 3. Collaborate with the Senior Stores Operator to ensure smooth intake and organisation of goods 4. Transport materials between facilities as needed for production schedules 5. Make deliveries and collections from suppliers 6. Maintain inventory accuracy through perpetual and annual stock takes 7. Pick parts and materials according to the Production Plan and supply assembly areas as needed Requirements: 1. Minimum 3 yearsβ experience in a material or stock handling (required) 2. Experience with MRP systems (preferred) 3. Knowledge of materials handling processes (preferred) 4. Forklift Licence (preferred) 5.
