Permanent Office Based
Our client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join their finance team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with prior accounts experience who is looking to develop their skills within a supportive and professional office environment.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the purchase ledger using Sage
- Processing supplier invoices and handling invoice queries
- Maintaining and updating the sales ledger
- Posting transactions to the nominal ledger
- Assisting with reconciliations and general bookkeeping tasks
- Supporting the finance team with administrative duties
- Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
- Assisting with ad-hoc accounts and office administration tasks as required
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an accounts or finance assistant role
- Experience using Sage accounting software is essential
- Good understanding of purchase ledger, sales ledger, and nominal ledger
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Well organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Confident communicator and effective team player
