Pertemps Lincoln are looking to hire multiple people for our customer in Gainsborough. Our customer is a global manufacturer who are growing their site and would like to add to their already successful manufacturing team. As a Semi-Skilled Operator, you'll play a vital role in turning raw materials into finished products that meet the high-quality standards our customers expect.
This is a varied role, where you'll gain hands-on experience in multiple areas of production, including:
- Incoming Goods
- Laser Operations
- Machine Operations
- Stores
- Assembly and Packing
- Despatch
What duties will I have?
- Maintain high housekeeping standards in all work areas.
- Generate and maintain all relevant documentation.
- Work professionally with all functional teams to minimise waiting times during production.
- Work to customer specifications.
- Adhere to Health & Safety (H&S) policies, ensuring a safe environment for yourself and others.
- Identify and report risks, near misses, or unsafe conditions to maintain safety and environmental standards.
What skills and experience do I need?
- Basic computer literacy.
- Experience working with metal-forming equipment such as presses, rollers, and formers.
- Strong awareness of Health & Safety practices.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in various production areas.
How much will I be paid? £12.21 to £14.08 per hour, depending on your experience.
What hours will I need to work? Monday to Friday 6AM to 2:30PM.
