Regular Shifts: Mon, Tues, Fri, and Sat starting around 04:00 / 05:00

Excellent Basic Pay: £17.13ph, £19.27ph on Saturday & Sunday

Overtime Rate: £22.78ph after 42 hours worked

Bonuses: £50 weekly bonus for working four or more shifts

Paid Holidays: 28 days per year (for full-time work).

Pertemps are hiring multiple drivers for our client DHL Nisa based in Scunthorpe and are looking for regular full time HGV/LGV C+E Drivers to join the team on a long-term basis. You will be delivering ambient or frozen goods to Nisa Local and Cost cutter convenience stores, unloading cages filled with goods upon arrival. No need to split the cages on-site, this is done by the staff at the store.

Before you start, you will need to pass a Class 1 HGV site assessment / induction, this is paid on completion and will take 8 hrs and includes:

  • A drug and alcohol test (on site urine sample)
  • Multiple choice questionnaire surrounding WTD and general knowledge.
  • Pre checks / Coupling up
  • Driving assessment on the road
  • 5 day site induction (Classroom based)

Requirements:

  • Experience: Category C+E (HGV 1) license (held for at least 6 months)
  • Certification: Digital Tachograph card and CPC qualification.
  • Clean Record: No DR10, CD10, IN10, no more than 6 points on your license.
  • Aged 21 or above.
