Pertemps has multiple openings for Class 1 C+E drivers with our client GXO in Newark. The role will be working nights carrying out deliveries of electrical goods ranging from washing machines, fridge freezers, tumble driers and more. You will be delivering to regional distribution centres so there will be no handball.
To get started, you'll need to pass a Class 1 site assessment/induction, which is paid upon completion. The assessment takes 8 hours, is paid once passed and includes:
- A multiple-choice questionnaire covering WTD and general knowledge
- Pre-checks and coupling-up procedures
- A driving assessment on the road
- A classroom-based site induction
Requirements:
- Experience: A valid Category C+E (HGV 1) license (1 Year)
- Certification: Digital Tachograph card and CPC qualification
- Clean Driving Record: No DR10, CD10, 6 points on your license
- Age: 23 or older
