Pertemps Recruitment is currently seeking 7.5T Drivers on behalf of our valued client based in Newark. We have opportunities for reliable and skilled drivers to join their delivery team, handling multidrop operations in the region.
What will I be doing?
- Completing multidrop deliveries to various locations, ensuring timely and accurate drop-offs.
- Loading and unloading goods, ensuring secure handling of packages.
- Conducting vehicle checks to maintain safety and compliance standards.
- Completing delivery paperwork accurately and efficiently.
- Maintaining a professional and courteous demeanour with customers and team members.
What skills and experience do I need?
- Valid 7.5T (C1) driving license with a clean driving record.
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- Previous experience in multidrop delivery or similar driving roles preferred.
- Strong knowledge of UK road networks and traffic regulations.
- Good physical fitness for loading and unloading goods.
- Excellent time management and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What hours will I be working?
Schedule: Ad hoc days, Monday to Friday, with 7:00 am starts. Shift lengths may vary depending on delivery requirements.
