Test & Inspect Electrician Location: Leicester Salary: £38,000  About the Role We’re looking for an experienced Test & Inspect Electrician to join our client’s team in Leicester. You’ll be responsible for carrying out electrical inspections and testing across a variety of commercial and domestic sites, ensuring compliance with the latest regulations and standards. Key Responsibilities Perform periodic inspection and testing of electrical installations (EICR) Diagnose, repair and rectify any electrical issues found during testing Compile clear, concise test reports and certificates Maintain accurate records of work carried out and circuits tested Work safely and in accordance with company and industry health & safety policiesEssential Requirements Minimum of 3 years’ experience in electrical inspection or related field City & Guilds 2391-52 (or equivalent) qualification in Inspection & Testing NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation 18th Edition wiring regulations qualification Full, valid UK driving licenceInterview Guarantee: Candidates meeting all the above criteria will be guaranteed an interview!  Bonus Structure & Benefits Bonus: £2.70 per extra circuit tested over 45 daily £3.50 per circuit tested on Saturdays & Sundays Average bonus earned last week across 50 engineers: £450 Typical daily circuits: 55–60 per engineer Holidays: 20 days annual leave (4 days to be taken during Christmas shutdown; engineers who work over this period receive both holiday pay and circuit bonus) Opportunity for career progression and ongoing professional development
