A dynamic opportunity has arisen for a Construction Project Manager to join a forward-thinking company specialising in surface water management and Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS). This role is ideal for a results-driven individual looking to take the lead in managing customer projects from initial enquiry through to successful completion.
Working as part of a collaborative and fast-paced team, the successful candidate will oversee project lifecycles, ensuring the seamless delivery of tailored solutions across a variety of civil engineering and construction environments. This role combines technical understanding with strong commercial acumen and client management expertise.
Whether coordinating with engineers, suppliers, or key stakeholders across the supply chain, you’ll play a crucial role in driving growth and ensuring projects are delivered to specification, on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage multiple construction-related projects from enquiry to order conversion
- Act as the central point of contact for client communications and technical support
- Provide quotations, project timelines, and regular progress updates
- Liaise with internal departments, external contractors, architects, engineers, and public bodies
- Maintain and update project details through CRM systems and forecasting tools
- Develop and strengthen long-term client relationships through excellent project delivery
- Contribute to the development of sales and marketing strategies for SuDS and drainage solutions
- Prepare and deliver regular performance reports and pipeline forecasts
- Experience within the construction or civil engineering sector is highly desirable
- Knowledge of SuDS solutions or surface water management is advantageous
- Excellent stakeholder and project coordination skills
- Proven ability to manage time, priorities, and multiple projects effectively
- Strong IT skills, including CRM, MS Office, and reporting tools
- A natural problem-solver with a proactive, can-do attitude
- Ability to communicate confidently at all levels, from site staff to engineers and decision-makers
