Job Description
- Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
- Managing balance sheet reconciliations and journals
- Supporting year-end processes and liaising with auditors
- Overseeing purchase and sales ledgers, accruals and prepayments
- Monitoring cashflow and producing regular reports
- Ensuring compliance with financial policies, procedures and regulations
- Providing support and guidance to the wider finance team and stakeholders
What we’re looking for in an Accountant:
- Previous experience as an Accountant or similar finance role
- Part-qualified or fully qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and experience of using Sage 50
- Excellent Excel skills and confidence using finance systems
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
