9 month fixed term contract
Up to £35,000 pa (depending on experience)
Full Time, Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm

Are you an experienced Accountant looking for a varied role within a supportive team?
We’re working with a well-established business in Leicester who are looking for someone to take ownership of their day-to-day accounts. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working across all aspects of finance and wants to be part of a company that values balance, teamwork, and growth.
What you’ll be doing:
Managing all aspects of the company accounts, including purchase and sales ledger, payroll, and bank reconciliations
Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports
Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
Supporting with year-end and audit preparation
Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with HMRC requirements
What we’re looking for:
AAT qualified or equivalent experience (ACCA/CIMA part or fully qualified also welcome) although not essential
Confident using accounting software (Xero or Sage experience would be ideal)
Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
A team player who can also work independently
