Pay Rate: £18.00 per hour
Hours: 7:00am starts, approximately 10-hour days
Days: Minimum 3 days per week (overtime available)
About the Role: Based in Oadby, my client is a well-established moving and logistics company seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver to join their team. This is a hands-on driving role involving heavy lifting and manual handling, so youll need to be physically fit and comfortable working as part of a busy, professional team.
Youll be responsible for transporting goods across various UK sites, assisting with the safe loading and unloading of vehicles, and ensuring high standards of service and care at all times.
Key Responsibilities:

• Drive Class 1 (C+E) vehicles to delivery and collection points across the UK
• Assist with manual handling, loading, and unloading of goods
• Ensure all items are securely transported and handled carefully
• Complete all delivery paperwork accurately
• Maintain compliance with driving hours and WTD regulations
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous Class 1 driving experience
• Physically fit and confident with heavy lifting
• Reliable, professional, and customer-focused
