A leading builders merchant in Kings Langley is seeking a qualified and customer-focused Class 2 HIAB Driver. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established team, delivering building materials to a loyal customer base while operating a lorry-mounted crane (HIAB).
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle and HIAB (lorry-mounted crane)
- Load, transport, and unload building materials at customer sites using the crane
- Conduct daily vehicle and crane checks, reporting any issues promptly
- Deliver goods on time while providing excellent customer service
- Ensure loads are safely secured and comply with road safety regulations
- Assist in the yard or warehouse when required
Requirements:
- Valid Category C (Class 2) driving licence
- HIAB licence (Lorry Loader Certificate) remote and/or hook/grab preferred
- CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- At least 2 years' commercial driving experience
- Strong customer service skills and a team player attitude
- A responsible, safety-first approach to work
