Job Description:
Pertemps are currently hiring HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our team based in Welham Green.
💰 Pay Rates:
- Monday – Friday: £21.40 p/h | OT: £26.00 p/h
- Saturday & Sunday: £25.27 p/h | OT: £30.50 p/h
- Overtime is paid after 46.25 hours worked per week.
📅 Guaranteed Work:
- If you can commit to Thursday – Monday or Friday – Tuesday shift patterns, you will be guaranteed work from now until the end of December 2025.

What you will be doing:
- Shift start times: (7am – 10am) or (12pm – 10pm)
- A mix of store deliveries in central London and trunking to depots
- Manual handling required
- Drive safely and efficiently in line with Drivers\’ Hours and Working Time Directive
- Comply with all health & safety, The Highway Code, and vehicle regulations
What you will need:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Driver CPC Qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 6 months\’ driving experience
- Complete a driver assessment and two-day induction
