We are currently seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to support a busy and fast-paced warehouse operation. This role offers an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for a dependable, motivated, and proactive individual.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operating a counterbalance forklift truck
- Loading and unloading vehicles and palletised stock
- Moving, storing, and organising goods within the warehouse
- Assisting with picking, packing, and general stock movement
- Carrying out manual handling tasks where required (this is not a forklift-only role)
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and workplace safety
- Supporting wider warehouse operations as needed
Requirements:
- Valid, in-date Counterbalance Forklift licence
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment
- Comfortable with physical and manual handling duties
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team
- Strong attention to detail with a solid understanding of Health & Safety procedures
